Vinyl reissue release date: July 8. LP orders will be shipped on the release day.
The debut album by the Jeseník based band Priessnitz. Originally released in 1992, the album features nine songs written by Petr Kružík and Jaromír Švejdík, including some of the band's most iconic classics, such as "Sny" and "Marie".
The CD edition includes two additional tracks compared to the original vinyl release and was remastered in 2010 by Dan Václavek at ADK Studio in Prague. In 2026, the album finally received its long awaited vinyl reissue, with new vinyl mastering by Broněk Šmid.
The band's original lineup featured Jaromír Švejdík on vocals, Petr Kružík on guitar, Libor Halíček on bass, and Ladislav Kolompár on drums, with Jiří Vaculík appearing as a guest guitarist.
The nine tracks on Freiwaldau perfectly capture what made Priessnitz a cult band: Jaromír Švejdík's unmistakable vocals, Petr Kružík's distinctive guitar work, the dark atmosphere of the Jeseníky Mountains, and a collection of unforgettable songs.
