Electro-folk group Listolet is releasing the distinctive love song, “Kocour spí” (i.e. Sleeping Cat). In this fable, written for “couples at an advanced stage”, there are animals and dramatic twists, like every relationship. Alongside Tomáš Háček, the song features the singer, Lucie Páchová, known to classical and jazz music listeners from her projects such as Talaqpo and Paliome. This time, she bestows her educated voice to pure pop rock.
The single “Kocour spí” is Listolet’s comeback after a four year hiatus. It is the first teaser from a new album the Listolets are working on and which is planned to be released before Spring next year. There will be 12 songs from Tomáš Háček and Kuba Navrátil and its topic are their stories. “We live in stories, die in stories, but it is impossible without stories,” says the frontman of Listolet, director and composer Tomáš Háček.
Listolet is an electro-folk band from the West Carpathians which has been browsing the Czecho-Slovak alternative and folk-rock waters for eight years. During that time, they’ve managed to release two albums, their song Lullaby got to MTV, and last but not least, they moved from Brno, where the band was formed, back to the hills, where they are now secretly working on their third album.
